Representation of the post-game combat in all routes
Technical Choices
Nemesis will temporarily not be implemented in V0
Post V0 implementation should take into consideration unique slither mechanics
Currently do not have any secret society implementation of Slitherers so the Post V0 version will likely need adjustment after such a system is implemented
Game Design
After the war is over, if the Empire is defeated, Thales will retreat to Shambala (Hrym Territory). If the Empire is successful, Thales will demand Edelgard install Agarthan loyalists into power. If rejected, Thales will attempt to kill and coup Edelgard. There is a chance Thales immediately dies which ends the event chain. If Thales is successful, Agarthans will takeover the Empire which also skips the war.
When the war starts Claude/Dimitri/Edelgard will have the ability to strike Shambala directly. This will kick off an event driven battle similar to Imperial Invasion.
If the Heroes win, then the event chain ends.
If the Heroes lose, or the Agarthans takeover the Empire, TWSITD will seize control around Shambala and declare war on the rest of Fodlan. If Cornelia is alive she will seize control around Arianrhod.
A "Javelin of Light" V0 system will be implemented that allows TWSITD to gain certain temporary bonuses.
V0 - Select via event menu strategic counties to destroy. Destroyed counties lose all building, development, and receive a modifier which prevents reconstruction for a period of time. #3 will be implemented which means strategic destruction of buildings can greatly weaken the opposition.
Humans with the cowardly trait can randomly get an event to "defect" to TWSITD after a certain number of Javelin of Light are used.
TWSITD will get more Javelin of Light over time to use, but have a maximum they can use for balance reasons.
Technical Implementation
Future Considerations
TWSITD should get a custom government type
Sleeping Nabateans should be able to intervene
Event chain for Seteth/Flayn to take over leadership
Purpose: To Represent the war against TWSITD
