The key here is something called a "vertical market":

A vertical market is a market in which vendors offer goods and services specific to an industry, trade, profession, or other group of customers with specialized needs. An example could be software that manages services in hotels—amenities solutions

And more importantly about market segmentation. This is about creating an interface and an ability to have a back end that makes it meaningful.

I'm thinking that using yelp records for this will be crucial. Instead of asking people to specify categories (which have an inherently contentious and debatable taxonomy) we can ask them to categorize via the proxy of specifying businesses
