Gathering on Global CD? #331

Performing gathering like Skinning, Herbalism (and probably Mining) are on the Global Cooldown. In other words, if I just casted a spell like Renew on my Priest, it takes a Global Cooldown tick before I can Skin a mob or pick a Herb. Pretty sure this isn't correct.

Skinning, Herbalism, and Mining are all abilities, and thus are affected by global cooldown. This has been the behaviour in private servers for years, though it's worth looking into.
