Improved counterspell broken

Improved counterspell for mages only works some times. what happens is the counterspell neither resist or goes into effect but simply doesnt apply to target. I have tested with other mages, and classes extensively in duels.

I second this post ! We have tested this together, and I've also tested it against other casters. To be more accurate, it seems that counterspell silence the opponent only 50% of the time, even though we have 2 points in Improved Counterspell (so it should be 100% chance). So I guess one talent point is not working. This is only the improved talent that doesn't work, the base spell in itself works correctly.

It is being resisted, typically by priests or paladins who have resistance to silence. Can you provide evidence of it being irresistable on classic?

@Wall-core No It will say resist in combat log, and scrolling text, but what happens is the cs doesn't even stick to the target. I have tested against even warriors where it neither resists or stick as intended, warrior is just example of a class who doesnt have mechanic to be immune to silence.

@Wall-core no we are not talking about resist. Sometimes the spell get resisted as intended. Here the spell is NOT resisted : it interrupts the target, but the silence is only applied 50% of the time instead of 100%

Can confirm from PvP that the silence is not always applied. Go for silence > shatter and they are not silenced a good majority of the time.
