I guess that it would help if the app is available in alternative store like F-Droid too.

Hi, I haven't installed this yet (it's on my massive list of things to do!), but there's no reason you can't put the development version on the play store now(so long as you sign the apk).

Reason for suggesting doing it now, is people can then get automatic updates every time you patch or release a new version. You just fire it off to the play store, and off it goes. Also, there are alpha and beta testing channels automatically built in, so you can select volunteers to try new features, or have an 'open beta'or whatever.

The developer console for Play is really good, so worth having a mooch.

Just a thought.

Plus 1 here for the Amazon App Shop. I guess 30€/$ make a pretty good wall mounted tablet.

How do u make/install this ? Do i just download, unzip on my windows machine, run the BAT (to compile?) , then copy the "WallPanelApp" to my Android my phone? my gosh thats a lot of .java files

This is not the right place to ask for installation instructions. If you don’t want to build it yourself why don’t you use the built apks on https://github.com/WallPanel-Project/wallpanel-android/releases ?
