App is connected but "connect" wallet screen is shown

Describe the bug After successfully connecting, the app is connected but "connect" wallet screen is shown.

Console error is Failed to register, user has an existing stale identity. Unregister using the unregister method.

To Reproduce

I can't reliably reproduce this. It has happened to me twice today. It also happened to @llbartekll when testing.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

(delete the PWA app if you have it already)

1. Go to https://app.web3inbox.com/ on iOS
2. Add to homepage
3. Connect with MM
4. Go back to the dapp
5. The connect wallet screen is shown.
6. Clicking it will show the connected modal view

Expected behavior The user progresses with the sign in flow

Bumping this to P0. It has happened several times for me. Today it happened in Chrome desktop so I was able to grab the error.
