What problem does this new feature solve?

Hello. I am using your example but there is no Metamask in the list.

Hey @Z-Hayk 👋 MetaMask will release a new version that supports WalletConnect V2 soon. Until they release this version, you won't be able to connect with MetaMask.

@Z-Hayk the v2 PR has been merged, and afaik they are testing it
