Clock Bug #751

I don't know if this is considered a glitch/bug, but this game I saw that I still had 40 secs left and I didn't hear any byoyomi beeps. Then suddenly the server declared that I abandoned the game by running out of time. (It was a shame since I completely won the game and it was rated)

Thanks for reporting this. When you saw you had 40 secs left, how long after that it timed you out? Clock issues are really hard to replicate on my end, because the conditions are always very specific... The byoyomi beep might not play, if you reloaded the page previously, or on bad internet connection if the sound is not cached yet... I plan to do something about this.

If anyone else experienced something similar please let me know.

I didn't get timed out fortunately. I was playing on my phone's browser. I switched to a different tab then went back with 40 secs left on the clock and haven't reached byoyomi. I think my internet connection wasn't that bad, but oh well.
