When I set langage to French lang : fr or lang : fr-FR I get the folowing error updating tlmgr

updating existing packages

compilation failed- error Argument of \str_uppercase:n has an extra }.

\par l.270 \setmainlanguage[]{} How to fix that. Sorry I'm new to latex.
