Content exceeding the width of a collum in a table. #294

I'd like to know if there is a way to avoid the content of a collum does not exceed its width.

Would that also happen using the default LaTeX template in Pandoc, i.e. is this a LaTeX issue or something connected to the Eisvogel template?

Edit: Also, does this also happen if you switch to another Markdown table format (e.g. from pipe table to multiline tables)?
