way to set the live wallpaper on 20230228 #464

after i update the system, i want to try the new wallpapers in the new system, but fail to change back to the geometric weather live wallpaper. i try the other live wallpaper and find the following way occasionally.

  1. you need a way to get system live wallpaper picker which geometric weather fails to. my choice is com.nuko.liveweather, just install it from google play.
  2. in com.nuko.liveweather choose set wallpaper 1
  3. go back, do not confirm the wallpaper 2
  4. here choose the go to turn on live magic screen wallpaper engine 3
  5. then the com.android.wallpaper.livepicker will show, just choose geometric weather.

HOPE the developer will come back and fix it soon. thank you PS my phone is xiaomi and the system is MIUI 14.

Here's the link for the app mentioned in the tutorial in case someone would like to try it out but fails to find the app.

Encountered the very same problem recently. Your approach works quite well, except that I cannot set the live wallpaper globally, only on the desktop.

It seems like it does let you set it on both home and lock screens, at least when I tried it. Even stayed applied when the app nuko app was uninstalled
