Hello, can you please explain what is the function of grid mask? Is it a way of augmentation? Have you tested the result with use_grid_mask=False? Thanks a lot!

Hi, Grid Mask is a way of data augmentation see: https://arxiv.org/abs/2001.04086

I couldn't rememer the results without grid_mask, probably be around 1-2 mAP drop for ResNet101
