"Guardians of Azeroth" is a mod for Crusader Kings 3 with a worldwide development team, based on the Warcraft universe by Blizzard Entertainment. In this mod, our team is working to recreate the world of Azeroth in all of its glory, particularly focusing on the story of the classic Warcraft strategy games and World of Warcraft Classic.
Most of these suggestions are about the Reign of Chaos period (603 A.D.) and Ascension of the Lich King period (605 A.D.).
Matriarchies/tribes/flights:
Bloodfeather harpies
1) Fury Shelda can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Fury_Shelda
2) Currently these harpies control territory called “Ponisuk”. When WoW game starts, they control territory called “Oracle Glade” in Teldrassil (northeast of Darnassus). However, it is said that they came here only recently – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Enchanted_Glade
Therefore, it is up to the mod team to deicide whether they should stay where they are now or move to a new territory (presumably “Lenalli”).
3) They can be red-white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Bloodfury harpies
1) Ripper can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodfury_Ripper

Therefore, this territory can be renamed in order to make it more lore-friendly, and be given to the Bloodfury harpies (and two in-game taurens can be added to Cliffwalker family tree).

3) They can be pink-red-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Screeching harpies
1) Grenka Bloodscreech can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Grenka_Bloodscreech and Warcraft Arclight Rumble and is mentioned in “Lands of Mystery” sourcebook.

Therefore, this territory can be renamed and given to the Windfury harpies. The territory of “Sungraze” can be also given to them if the mod team finds it possible.
3) They can be blue-white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Witching harpies
1) Serena Bloodfeather can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Serena_Bloodfeather and Heartstone – https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Serena_Bloodfeather
1.1) Her sister was slain by Rexxar in 605 A.D.
1.2) She can be a rather strong Priest. In Heartstone she is a legendary priest character.
2) Currently, instead of these harpies, we have Silverfeather harpies. Renaming these harpies would be a lore-friendly move.

4) They can be bright-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Military:
1) Rocs
This unit is present in Coven flight of harpies – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Coven_Roc
I suggest to make all harpies capable of hiring this unit, because the harpy roster is rather hard to work with.
Rocs can have a high pursuit stat.
2) Roguefeathers
This unit is one of the most popular among harpies. They use physical attacks, therefore they can be a light footmen unit
3) Windcallers
This unit is one of the most popular among harpies. They use magical attacks, therefore they can be a mage unit (Harpies have a rather big spells set, so it is safe to assume that this unit is quite good)
4-6) Units like “Ambushers”, “Slayers”, and “Witches” are also popular. However, it is hard to make a difference between these types of units. I suppose they all can fit the “«Traditional» Men-at-Arms” type of units, that can become available through traditions and reaching a certain era. The stats should be decided by the mod team.
Religion:
There can be a religion called “The cult of Aviana”. Quilboars worship Agamaggan, and harpies, in theory, can turn to Aviana.
Tittles and names
1) Leaders can have the tittle “Queen” or "Matriarch" instead of Chieftess, like in Warcraft III – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Harpy_Queen Or the tittle “Matriarch”
2) Factions can have a name “Flight”. So instead of “Bloodfeather harpies”, it can be “Bloodfeather flight”.
Assigned to Ck3 accepted suggestions - needs to be part of a greater harpy rework given we now have non-static models, thus different ethnicities and other harpy sub-cultures can be looked at
