Winterax Tribe

Describe your suggestion in full detail below:

As pointed out by Lavie#0132 on the Discord server, we're missing the Winterax tribe of ice trolls.

• Led by Korrak the Bloodrager.
• Cannibalistic.
• Were once a part of the Drakkari Empire, but broke off, and settled in the Eastern Kingdoms (somewhere near Alterac Valley).
  • They "disappear mysteriously" at some point but this doesn't happen until after the events of Vanilla WoW, so it's not immediately relevant to our current bookmarks.

The Winterax trolls have been invading the valleys of Alterac and Alterac Valley and have been fighting the dwarves of the Stormpike clan (Stormpike Guard) and Frostwolf clan. During their battles in Alterac Valley, Korrak was slain and resurrected by his people multiple times.

Possible Winterax territory: Chillwind Pass (c_chillwind_pass)

• Part of the Alterac Kingdom in 583 bookmark.
• Jubei'thos's (ID: 10550) territory in the 603 bookmark.
• Chieftain Ripsnarl's (ID: 29025) territory in the 605 bookmark.
• In both cases, Jubei'thos and Ripsnarl are left with other territory so no one becomes unlanded.

Notable members:

• Korrak the Bloodrager
  • Dire troll and leader of the tribe.
• Rezlerek
  • Literally no info on this troll as far as I can tell.

Things to consider:

• Alterac Valley is currently very small and there aren't many counties we can give away without it hurting Alterac Kingdom.
• While Korrak the Bloodrager may be an iconic character for many, giving away an entire county to a tribe of trolls on account of their singular appearance in a battleground may not be the best solution.
• As suggested by Rimaka#1383 on Discord, if we're unable to add the tribe as a traditional county due to balance issues, we could instead consider adding a "Winterax Tribe" modifier to the county of Alterac Valley which brings about occasional events.

Since I've heard the map is going to get an overhaul, why not just add the Winterax Hold https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Winterax_Hold that was mentioned in Korrak's page to have been inhabited by his tribe as a county? If you deem that the tribe would be too weak for having just one county then just give them event troops.

Also you may consider giving the Winterax tribe their own culture and ethnicity since their article states that

The Winterax do not share the unusually large size of their Drakkari brethren.

and

The tribe's appearance differs significantly from other ice troll tribes. They are, outside of their dire trolls, smaller than other ice trolls, using the same model as the jungle trolls. They also do not have blue skin, instead, favoring a pale gray / white skin tone with red or orange eyes for both men and women.
