Picking this monster of an issue.
Hi how are you SInce the doc got picked up, I decided to check something out real quick. Can a little extra be done for Wolvars too?
And yeah, I know the doc is pretty big. But at least some stuff is already in the game. Like, it was made quite some time ago, and your team made big progress since then.
Noted. Will add.
Describe your suggestion in full detail below:
This is a 76 pages long list of suggestions for races of centaurs, gnolls, harpies, kobolds, quilboards and satyrs. This is a better version of my previous updates. GoA2 map used and screenshots are provided for better navigation.
Most of these suggestions are about the Reign of Chaos period (603 A.D.) and Ascension of the Lich King period (605 A.D.)
Centaurs
Mod team can make their colours according to the game lore
Galak 1) Achellios the Banished can be a knight”of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Achellios_the_Banished 1.1) Achellios the Banished can have a Hunter class. He is accompanied by hyenas – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Galak_Packhound 2) Skycaller Vrakthris can be a knight of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Skycaller_Vrakthris Gelkis 1) Shodo can be the heir of Khan Shaka or just replace him if the mod team approves that – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Khan_Shodo 1.1) If Shodo is approved, his children can be added to the family tree: Rhoho, Sherik, Jorreth and Kherrah (info about his children is present on his wowpedia page) 2) Uthek the Wise can be the Chancellor of the clan. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Uthek_the_Wise Kolkar 1) Gragtor can be the leader of the clan in 603 A.D. – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Khan_Gragtor 1.1) Khan Dez'hepah or Khan Leh'Prah can be the leader of the clan in 605 A.D. – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Khan_Dez%27hepah and https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Khan_Leh%27Prah 2) Warlord Kolkanis or Warlord Krom'zar can be the Marshal of the clan. Both are present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Warlord_Kolkanis and https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Warlord_Krom%27zar 3) Stonearm can be the Steward of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Stonearm 4) Verog the Dervish can be the High Shaman of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Verog_the_Dervish 5) Barak Kodobane can be a knight of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Barak_Kodobane and Heartstone – https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Barak_Kodobane 5.1) He can be a rather strong “Hunter”, because he is a legendary card in Heartstone. 6) Brokespear can be a knight of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Brokespear 7) Hezrul Bloodmark can be a knight of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Hezrul_Bloodmark 8) Kurak can be a knight of the clan. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Warug Maraudine No changes Centaur lore Military: 1) Maulers This unit is one of the most popular among Centaurs. They wear heavy armor and spears, it seems likely that they are armored footmen unit with higher pursuit stat. 2) Scouts This unit is one of the most popular among Centaurs. They use bows and no armor, it seems likely that they are bowmen unit. 3) Windchasers or Stormers This unit is one of the most popular among Centaurs. They use magical attacks, therefore they can be a mage unit. (Note – their spells set is rather poor. Harpy Windcallers, for example, have a much larger spells set. So it is safe to assume that Windchasers/Stormers unit is not very good) 4) Wranglers This unit is one of the most popular among Centaurs. They use physical attacks, therefore they can be a light footmen unit.
Religion: Clan Magram may be a clan that does not follow the cult of Theradras, as mentioned in “World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3”
Tittles: 1) High Shamans can be renamed to Prophets, as mentioned in “The Pariah's Instructions” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Pariah%27s_Instructions
Gnolls
New models can be used for the whole race https://www.wowhead.com/news/new-gnoll-models-in-dragonflight-hogger-gets-a-facelift-327715
Blackpaw
Currently the exist in 603 A.D. and control Ghost Forest, Lyrennore and Rest Hollow However, they present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Underlight_Mines so it is likely they couldn’t be wiped out in 605 A.D. Deatholme – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Deatholme So right now Deatholme does not exist. My suggestion is to keep the tribe in 605 A.D. but only with Ghost Forest – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Underlight_Mines [29, 48])
Before 605 A.D. Deathholme can have a different name obviously, but it should probably be located in Aethkadi This change can be a lore-friendly step. Dar'Khan Drathir would be in the fortress of Deatholme where he actually was Blackpaw tribe would exist in 605 A.D. Grimtail tribe 1) Cackle can be the leader of this tribe. She is present in World of Warcraft novel “Traveler” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Cackle 2) Currently they do not exist. Their (supposed) territory Ethel Rethor is controlled by murlocs. Therefore, this territory can be given to gnolls in order to make it more lore-friendly. 3) This territory can be a forest, like it is mentioned in the lore – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Last_Forest
Mosshide tribe 1) Sagepaw can be the leader of this tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Sagepaw 2) One of their in-game territories “Mosshide Fen” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Mosshide_Fen is controlled by Ironforge dwarfs. Therefore, this territory can be given to gnolls in order to make it more lore-friendly. They can also, possibly, get East Floodplain 3) Gnawbone can be the Steward of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Gnawbone 4) Gazz the Loch-Hunter can be a knight of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Gazz_the_Loch-Hunter
Redridge pack
Error: The name is odd
There is a Redridge house but the gnoll from it is not controlling the pack Can be changed 1) Ardo Dirtpaw can be the Marshal of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Ardo_Dirtpaw 2) Ribchaser can be a knight of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Ribchaser
Redpine tribe 1) Moldfang can be the leader of this tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Moldfang It is safe to assume he was alive in 605 A.D. and in 603 A.D. 2) Currently they do not exist. Their territories Cabinwood and Gahhron are controlled by Scourge. I base my suggestion for them on a quest called “Unusual Behavior... Even For Gnolls” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Unusual_Behavior..._Even_For_Gnolls and these maps – https://mmo4ever.com/cataclysm/map.php?id=28&creature=44478 and https://mmo4ever.com/cataclysm/map.php?id=28&creature=45155 (blue dots) Obviously, this is WoW Cataclysm, however: I believe they can still exist, at least in 605 A.D. Gnolls representation can help create more variety Tirion is having a hard time with Scourge. Taking away a little from it will make his life a little easier. 3) Cabinwood can be renamed to Redpine Dell – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Redpine_Dell in order to make it more lore-friendly.
Riverpaw pack 1) Jango Spothide can be the Marshal of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Jango_Spothide 2) Sergeant Brashclaw can be the Brute of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Sergeant_Brashclaw 3) Fedfennel can be the Overseer of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Fedfennel 4) Gruff Swiftbite can be the Tracker of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Gruff_Swiftbite
Rot Hide pack Unique faction and changes: This tribe of undead gnolls can be a new unique faction, a part of Scourge, that is lore friendly. In order to make them be, however, some changes should be done first. Their territory Garren’s Haunt – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Tirisfal_Glades?file=WorldMap-Tirisfal.jpg (Cataclysm map is used because it is more clear where is it. There is no real difference between Classic and Cataclysm map of the reason anyway) is named Northern coast is currently controlled by Arthas. Obviously, moving an important character like that, in normal circumstances, would be a rather large nudge. However, I believe the circumstances allow it. Here is why: At the start of Arthas Campaign in Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, he is visiting the ruined capital of Lordaeron – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/King_Arthas_(WC3_Undead) and later on leaves the place completely. When you start playing GoA2, Sylvanas is already hostile to Arthas and Balnazzar, and is fighting the latter one. So “The Flight from Lordaeron” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Flight_from_Lordaeron_(WC3_Undead) seems to be already over and Arthas left. What I want to say, is that Northern coast shouldn’t really be important for Arthas and his faction. Therefore, no real reason to hold it for him Therefore, I suggest to give Northern coast and possibly even Agamand to the new faction.
1) Snarlmane can be the leader of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Snarlmane and in the Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne where he was the leader of gnolls. Alternatively, Thule Ravenclaw – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Thule_Ravenclaw can be their leader. 2) Maggot Eye can be the Brute of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Maggot_Eye
Shadowhide pack 1) General Fangore can be the leader of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/General_Fangore 2) Currently they do not exist. In CK2: GoA1 their territory Redridge Canyons is controlled by Redridge tribe. So Redridge Canyons can be given to Shadowhide. 3) Rohh the Silent can be the Spymaster of the tribe. He is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Rohh_the_Silent
Wildpaw tribe Mudsnout house house can have a tittle of Wildpaw tribe.
1) Grimtooth can be the leader of the tribe. He is present in game – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Grimtooth and Heroes of the Storm in a form of a portrait
Woodpaw tribe The clan is present in the previous mod, the game and the novel, so not much needs to be suggested. However, the mod team can add more novel character in order to make the tribe more lore-friendly.
Families:
Greasefang is the matriarch of the tribe Jaggal is the son of Greasefang Sivet is the daughter of Jaggal
Gnaw is the marshal of the tribe Jawstretcher is the mate of Gnaw Hackle is the son of Gnaw and Jawstretcher

Military All suggested units are based on the most popular units in Warcraft 3 and WoW 1) Alpha squad They can be armored footmen unit 2) Mystics They can be a mage unit 3) Poachers This unit uses crossbow, so they can be a Crossbowmen unit. 4) Shamans They can be a mage unit
Harpies
Leaders: Rename their leaders from Chieftess to Matriarch
Factions
Bloodfeather harpies 1) Fury Shelda can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Fury_Shelda 2) Currently these harpies control territories of Cadrellaen and Hidden Grove – When WoW game starts, they control territory called Oracle Glade in Teldrassil – Apparently, they were not hostile to the elves before the quest https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_Enchanted_Glade Therefore, they can be neutral to the elves. I think they can manage to live fine here. The player can even join Kaldorei Empire and slowly grow.
3) They can be red-white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Bloodfury harpies 1) Ripper can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodfury_Ripper 2) Right now, they do not exist. Therefore, this territory can be renamed in order to make it more lore-friendly, and be given to the Bloodfury harpies (and two in-game taurens can be added to Cliffwalker family tree). 3) They can be red-white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game. 4) Sister Riven can be a Steward of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Sister_Riven
Coldwind harpies 1) Mistress of the Coldwind can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Mistress_of_the_Coldwind 2) Currently these harpies control territory called “Coldwind”. However in game this territory is called “Coldwind Heights” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Coldwind_Heights This territory can be renamed in order to make it more lore-friendly 3) They can be black-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Dustwind harpies 1) Currently they do not exist. However, they are present in WoW and are mentioned in “Lands of Mystery” sourcebook. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Edana_Hatetalon 2) Currently, instead of these harpies, we have Stonefeather harpies. Renaming these harpies would be a lore-friendly move. 3) They can be pink-red-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Screeching harpies 1) Grenka Bloodscreech can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Grenka_Bloodscreech and Warcraft Arclight Rumble and is mentioned in “Lands of Mystery” sourcebook. 2) Right now their territory Roguefeather Den – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Roguefeather_Den is called Segenam. This territory can be renamed in order to make it more lore-friendly. 3) They can be blue-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Snowblind harpies 1) Currently they do not exist. If there are plans to make the map larger and, then Icewing Pass (northern part of Alterac Valley) can be added to the game – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Icewing_Pass 2) They can be white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Windfury harpies 1) Sister Hatelash can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Sister_Hatelash Windfury can be renamed to Windfury Ridge 2) They can be blue-white-plumaged type of harpies, like in the game.
Witching harpies 1) Serena Bloodfeather can be the leader of these harpies. She is present in WoW – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Serena_Bloodfeather and Heartstone – https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Serena_Bloodfeather 1.1) Her sister was slain by Rexxar in 605 A.D. 1.2) She can be a rather strong Priest. They use physical attacks, therefore they can be a light footmen unit 3) Windcallers This unit is one of the most popular among harpies. They use magical attacks, therefore they can be a mage unit (Harpies have a rather big spells set, so it is safe to assume that this unit is quite good) 4-6) Units like “Ambushers”, “Slayers”, and “Witches” are also popular. However, it is hard to make a difference between these types of units. I suppose they all can fit the “«Traditional» Men-at-Arms” type of units, that can become available through traditions and reaching a certain era. The stats should be decided by the mod team.
Music: Harpies don’t really have their music, but these tracks can be added to the game anyway 1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd1rlP36gv8 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8PqlJBeuT0

Tittles and names 1) Factions can have a name “Flight”. So instead of “Bloodfeather harpies”, it can be “Bloodfeather flight”. Unique harpies: Sephira Dusktalon – https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Sephira_Dusktalon can be a part of a matriarchy/tribe. It is up to the mod team to decide which one.
Kobolds
Drywhisker 1) Geomancer Flintdagger can be their leader. It should be mentioned that Hammerfall does not exist, it is Dryhill instead. https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Arathi_Highlands?file=WorldMap-Arathi_Terrain1.jpg On every map it is Hammerfall. In the future, a new zone can be added to the game, that could be given to the clan, if mod team thinks it is a good idea. I guess this territory can be given to kobolds anyway. https://www.wowhead.com/npc=327/goldtooth 3) Narg the Taskmaster can be the Steward of the clan. This territory can be given to kobolds in order to make it more lore-friendly. https://www.wowhead.com/npc=14427/gibblesnik 2.1) Extra – “Windbreak Canyon” is called “Windbreak”. This territory can be renamed in order to make it more lore-friendly.

Can have good stats. 2) Currently they do not exist. Their territory “Coldtooth Mine” – https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Coldtooth_Mine is in Altercac Valley and is controlled by orcs. Obviously, there is not much space left for Syndicate and Horde (Not to mention Mudsnout tribe right next to all of them). In the future, a new zone can be added to the game, that could be given to the clan, if mod team thinks it is a good idea. The value of the clan and the territory is mostly lore and nostalgia for those, who fought in Alterac Valley.
