"Guardians of Azeroth" is a mod for Crusader Kings 3 with a worldwide development team, based on the Warcraft universe by Blizzard Entertainment. In this mod, our team is working to recreate the world of Azeroth in all of its glory, particularly focusing on the story of the classic Warcraft strategy games and World of Warcraft Classic.
Concerning the first two bookmarks, Illidan consistently dies within the first few months of game start due to poor health while in the dungeon. His health penalties are conferred by blindness and the fact that he is in the dungeon. Even his massive health bonus from the Plot Armour effect #189 cannot counter this.
Therefore I am suggesting three possible solutions:
Move Illidan to house arrest.
There is potential for an alt-history storyline if he escapes early. This would only be implemented after the Kalimdor storyline of WC3 is implemented.
Create a new type of imprisonment
Conceptually like the CK2 oubliette but without health penalties.[^1]
Confers increased chance of developing insanity due to solitary confinement.
Boost the health bonus effect of plot armor even more such that it can negate dungeon health penalties.
plot armor buff only lasts 5 years from game start date.
Other Tweaks
Illidan should be disqualified from inheriting Malfurion's titles or only have weak claims.
Localisation for Illidan's death needs a lore friendly update. See the screenshot.

[^1]: From the Illidan novel
"The ones who incarcerated him intended this place to be his tomb. They had forgotten about him over the long millennia. They should have killed him. It would have been kinder. Instead they let him live, pretending it was mercy. It let those who had bound him—such as his brother, Malfurion Stormrage, and Tyrande Whisperwind, the woman he loved—feel better about themselves.
Long centuries had dragged by when he never heard the voice of another living thing. Only his jailors, the Watchers, spoke to him occasionally, and he had learned to hate them.
There was no escape from this place. Not even death. Spells healed any harm he might inflict on himself. Magic kept him alive without need for water or food. Those bonds had been woven by masters, drawn so tight, intertwined so deeply, that they could be undone only by those who had buried him alive. And they would never do that. They were too afraid to let him go free."
