[SUGGESTION] | Saidan Dathrohan Stratholme event #1437

An event chain for Saidan Dathrohan, specifically during the events at Stratholme. It could have two outcomes, the canon outcome where Saidan is separated from his army and is killed and possessed by Balnazzar. The outcome of this could give Saidan a 'Possessed by Balnazzar' trait that makes him immortal, buffs attributes, positive relations with nathrezim/legion etc. Perhaps even giving him a hidden legion religion

The second option would prevent this from ever happening and have it so that Saidan doesn't get separated from the army and Balnazzar is killed. Not sure where it would exact go from here and what buffs/outcomes etc would follow, but the SC should prosper and be free of demonic corruption after this. Mostly just being the holy light zealots they originally were

We KINDA imply it happens in the Frozen Throne bookmark when Sylvanas win though Saidan doesn't have secret Legion religion and doesn't have options.

I think a lot of SC fans, definitely myself, would like the option to make it so that Saidan never got possessed and the SC didn't go insane. Maybe another decision tied to the Stratholme event, where Isillien gets executed and the SC gets reformed to only hate undead/horde/beast races. So they'd still be extremists, but not to the point where they're insane and killing human refugees. So really it would come down to a 'crossroads' event for Saidan and the SC, where it either gets reformed, or it follows the canon route of demonic corruption
