Loading game crashes game (build 8963)

I added the new code to deal with the \ problem that Andrettin brought up, but now whenever I load my saves the game crashes out on me. I will attach the stderr.txt file so you guys can work out what it is saying. I will also attach my save file as well so you might be able to duplicate the error.
