Hi, can you give a little more details? What are you typing, what are the results you expect, OS, screenshot, etc?

The palette command is TidyHTML

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

If I type in TidyHTML get no results If I type in HTMLTidy get 1 result from github.com/welovewordpress/publisher.

The correct package name is TidyHTML5. If it doesn't work you can still use the manual install method.

mcnitt commented 11 years ago

Just installed package control today on Sublime Text 2, confirming Chris' earlier report that TidyHTML5 is not listed. Very odd.

no-tidyhtml5

Update: Then tried manual install and discovered that TidyHTML5 already exists. It must now come bundled with Sublime Text 2?

term

Still, TidyHTML5 doesn't seem to be available in either a HTML5 or HTML syntax context.

html5-tidy

@mcnitt I just retried the setup from a blank profile, the installation went smoothly...

Can you confirm that you installed that SublimeText from scratch (not reinstalling it)

For the last screenshot, the you have the right command in the palette :)

mcnitt commented 11 years ago

@Warin It was a reinstall. My (unfortunate) process was:

  1. Install Sublime Text 2 (Yeah! Oh, wait...Sublime Text 3 is available.)
  2. Install Sublime Text 3 (Yeah!)
  3. Delete Sublime Text 2 (See ya. Oh no...something I need doesn't work with Sublime Text 3. Boo.)
  4. Delete Sublime Text 3 (Sorry. It's not you, it's me.)
  5. Install Sublime Text 2 (Take me back.)

I'm currently in Sublime Text 2. All of the issues above persist. Additionally, I've tried deleting TidyHTML5 from Packages, git cloned it back, restarted Sublime Text 2, it's still not seen by the command pallet or package control.

Am willing to screen share if that helps you and/or pay some $ if you're interested in checking my install. Just name your price.

Cheers!
