Hello this humble proposal contain that heatbalance mod along with some other changes.

in short

I must stress on the heat armor change which is badly needed (or something similar). I believe the other changes will make the game better, but was not discussed so far. I wouldn't mind if some (all?) of them was not kept.

I just removed my needle gun convertion to an high HP weapon. Not because I dont think that it would be a very nice add to the game, but because I guess I'm here to propose uncontrovertial slight changes that fit with the habits of everyone, not to make/impose new things.

I have also slightly decreased the loading time of the mini pod... (was still in the "fail" tiers... try to get it into "low tier")

The V08 is all the changes agreed with Zarel (see : http://ietherpad.com/wX3j1tXFAP)

Except for the Cyclone come back. I'm not sure how he plan to make it and to remember how it was before.

  • Pepperpot damage increase 50(30) -> 60(40)

What are the numbers in brackets?

  • Heavy Laser [+VTOL] price decrease 600 -> 400

What does [+VTOL] mean?

  • Sunburst air-to-air splash removed => direct damage increased a bit (100 => 120)

The direct damage increase is also for Sunburst?

  • Thermal armor prereqs moved back 1 step from armor upgrades

That doesn't really make sense to me, is there a better way to say that?

Also, I assume similar changes should go into master as well? The 2.3 files don't work there.

What does [+VTOL] mean?

VTOL Heavy Laser is also changed the same way.

The direct damage increase is also for Sunburst?

It's only for Sunburst air-to-air (i.e. the Sunburst ground-to-air turret/emplacement does not receive that change).

That doesn't really make sense to me, is there a better way to say that?

Thermal Armor's prereqs changed from Dense Composite Alloys to Composite Alloys Mk3.

High Intensity Thermal Armor's prereqs changed from Superdense Composite Alloys to Dense Composite Alloys Mk3.
