New Version of Warzone 2100 Crashes at Startup #4132

When I start up Warzone 2100 3.1.1 RC3, it crashes instantly. All I see is a black screen, then I have to to CTRL+ALT+Delete to get back to the desktop. According to the Task Manager, the game is still running but was terminated unexpectedly. I tried to find the crash dump file, but unfortunately could not. I did however get a pic of the error, and will also try to upload the WZLog.

Try deleting the map mentioned in the error message for now.

Hi, the game is telling you, you have a corrupted /unsupported map.

fatal |01:49:34: [buildMapList:591] Could not mount C:\Users\1\Documents\Warzone 2100 3.1\maps/8c-Sk-BigTeamWar-a41aa53ecd40d1fe1af4f4ab8aa87ccf7db4ff2460f8f82200af36d333dec8bd.wz, game will exit.

Please delete that file it mentions, and run the game again.

(The text you see has since been fixed to make it more clear to delete said file.)
