@KJeff01 what do you think of this idea?
It would get obscured by all kinds of menus... research, manufacturing, command, build, right-click orders, factory orders, etc.
Better to move the entire console display down an entire line if campaign is the current mode.
No, in case of an open menu, it would end up right on top of that.
What do you say?

If you can find an elegant way to do that then that's fine; Moving the console history down a line would be a much simpler fix regardless.
Yea That is what I was about to write. Let the console/log start one line further down should make room.
TBF, I nicked the screenshot from the issue where the button overlaps the console. But that's not exactly the point:
I believe that most (if not all) UI elements are found on the bottom left of the screen. I honestly did not get that this was a clickable button.
So it would make for a better player experience.
We got some good upvotes on Discord for the suggestion (from quite senior players) as well 😁
The symbol in that location does feel it belongs to the top left, though another approach is make it possible to change via a menu HUD option.
It does flash if I recall, might be when full though.
Describe the feature you'd like
Move the transport button to bottom left. if unit dialog is opened, it will be directly above that.
Describe why do you think it is needed This way, we can focus our eyes (and cursors) more on the area where other UI elements are.
