Highlight selected units/buildings on minimap #1999

Describe the feature you'd like When having some units or buildings currently selected, they will be highlighted in some form on the minimap. How they are highlighted is up to the person doing the implementation. Mabye their minimap elements are abit bigger or surrounded by a white border.

Describe why do you think it is needed This allows the player to have more oversight over the map and he can also do a quick glance on the minimap where the "action" is.

I am pretty sure an RTS that ive played in the past also has done this but I cant for the life of me remember. Ill update with screenshots when I find it.

Starcraft II: The right hand side group of roaches is selected. they are highlighted on the minimap image

Age of Empires II, The Rider in the top right is selected, he is highlighted with a white dot image
