Do you have a map that shows this? Do you mean that the droid doesn't appear in build menus or that it's possible to construct it but that it's simply invisible?
This is a simple test map I made to show this. (change .zip to .wz and place it in your maps folder)
Player 0 is given a Mini-Rocket Pod Scorpion Half-tracks in the top left corner of the map.
But when the map is played on 3.3.0 that unit is simply not there.
When playing the map on 3.1.5, the unit exists in-game.
This is problem FlaME it self, flame works with old file stats, as .ini Warzone 3.2+ works with JSON stats only. To fix this, you need to be FlaME editor update OR after working on map, convert it to lastest format INI -> JSON.
Ouch, it seems FlaME hasn't been updated since 2013? Is this correct?
If that's the case then it seems to be some sort of miracle it works with the current versions of Warzone at all.
So what's the action? Should we update FlaME or explicitly say on some instructions page that it's not supported?
Is this the repo? https://github.com/Warzone2100/flaME Visual Basic ?! not touched since 2012 ...
There are a few other versions here:
OH, ok, our version is VB. But it seems the other version is CPP.
But what's this? https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2100/tree/master/tools/map this one's new ...
FLaME is an old thing. I'm making new map editor from scratch now, hope it will release to somehow usefull pice of software soon.
How is progress with FLaMe and or SharpFLaMe going?
https://github.com/bchavez/SharpFlame - I've had issues trying to get that working. This looks the best one though. C#
When making a custom droid design in FlaME using the menu below, the droid does not appear in-game. This happens with the current version of the game (3.3.0)
However launching the same map in 3.1.5, the unit does appear.
