You can kinda already do this. Turn on abbreviated notifications. That shortens the body of the message, but not the subject. So the second line of that notification would show more, but the first line would still have the "UpdateMeBot Here" bit.
I'm on the fence about that though, because I kinda like the extra context in the non-abbreviated notification when I've got the space for it :-)

I get a reasonably large number of notifications from it, and sometimes I wish it wouldn't start every single one of them with "UpdateMeBot here!". I already know it's from UpdateMeBot, and in places without a lot of space that friendly greeting eats into the available space. In particular in android notifications it eats into it twice:
would it be reasonable to make this greeting optional? I'd happily work on the change if you agree to it. (alternatively it could be dropped altogether -- again, say the word and I'll give it a weekend).
