Here is Anna's review of the application today, including some issues previously known - now we know more!
Input Data Viewer
[ ] Shows "this model run" even if I don't have a model run I've done, I don't see the base case.
[ ] map shows a lot of sig figs, hard to read and could use some more intelligible formatting (i.e., commas, only 2 decimal places)
[ ] the Yakima sub-regions don't seem to have any data in there right now *
Settings
[x] I toggled the "show all model runs from my org" and the navigated away, I got an error flag "Failed to save settings - server error was: You do not have permission to perform this action". Might make sense with my credentials though.
Model Setup & Results
[ ] Region modification page seems to have a weird cut off "?" bar, it looks like some instructions have been cut off. *
[ ] you can't seem to make a decision for a crop in a specific region, correct? The assumption would be you'd need to apply it universally and then just look at your region of interest? *
[ ] a label pops up when you hover over a card (e.g., Apples), but it sometimes blocks the text for the "?", seems redundant?
[ ] Unclear what normalize to model run means, might be worth having a "?" *
[ ] Model run resulted in some regions showing revenue but NaN for acreage and ac-ft. Several crops seem to be showing revenue but no acreage or for many regions **
[ ] Example Nooksack shows duplicates for some crops (non irrigated?) with NaNs. But this doesn't show up when I download the csv.
[ ] after I downloaded the csv, the map started gltching where it wouldn't load properly and I couldn't visualize the data.
[x] are irrigated and non-irrigated lumped together in results? they seem distinct in the visualization but there is no field for that in the csv. *
[x] can only filter irrigated/nonirrigated in the chart, no where else.
[x] results for Value Added and Jobs was NaN, I assume the IMPLAN isn't in yet. **
[ ] No way to save the model setup (as a csv or something), you can export the results but there is no indication in the file what the model parameters were. Some models might get complicated, it would be nice o be able to save the settings or something in a csv so you can store it together with results. Could be useful in checking work or finding errors? I can see it as a table in the Model Run inputs, but no way to save it for reference. *
[ ] viewing other model runs like "Base Case", I can see another "this model run, but I am unclear what that means. If its just kind of redundant because base case = base case, thats fine but the "this model run" looks different than base case. *
[ ] From Josue - find a way to reduce the number of trailing zeros for varying scales of numbers - show the largest in millions and the others in thousands, etc
[x] Change the home page so that it uses the input data viewer rather than the scatter - move the scatter elsewhere
[x] Remove warning when we encounter negative profits

[ ] Would be great if you could toggle the labels on, when you download the figure your capacity to look know what is what goes away.
