If I make the app respond to the screen orientation lock setting(so you can freeze it in a specific orientation), would that help for your specific device? Or would it be better to have a dedicated setting in the app?
I believe a dedicated setting would be the best approach as several of these handhelds have custom firmware available. I use a rg405v w/ gammaos which does not have a orientation lock setting so it's possible that several other devices fall under this same predicament.
Then I'll make sure it makes it into the app eventually. Thanks for the suggestion.
Several handhelds have their displays installed sideways which causes some apps to display incorrectly. It is fixable via third-party apps but having a setting for this would be great.
Thank you for bringing this to android!
