what dw said, or it looks to me like either your /maps folder is missing, or
its empty, or its lacking some of the newer files

please post support requests in our message group though, or at least verify
its a bug on our end before making the issue report.

I'm also getting this error. All the files are there and are up-to-date with
Source. Tried previous versions of each as well still same issue. If more info
is needed I can reply w/ pics or more info.

I've never seen this error, verify that your SVN sync is fully resolved

I've done several clean installs since this bug was first reported and I still
can not replicate it. Please provide more information.

What kind of system is it running on (windows, linux)? From the screenshot it
looks like windows, maybe this is a problem with the .bat file. I've never ran
this server from a windows host before. Can someone else confirm we work on
windows?

Is this a migration from a previous version, or a clean start?

Is this a 'pure' l1j-en codebase you are using, or a mix of l1j-en and
something else?

I tried to do a clean install, but the same thing keeps popping up
I compiled the jar with no probs with eclipse, but still always the same

K here's a rundown what i did to replicate issue Windows XP [Native PC +
Bootcamp on Mac], MySQL 5.6, tortoiseSVN, Navicat Prem, Java SE Development Kit
6 Update 26. I SVN'd a folder to my desktop, created a copy at c/root w/
L1jen_m6 renamed as l1jen in my LinServ fodler. Opened Navicat, created a new
database, executed SQL file from /db/l1jdb_m6.sql. Added my password to
/config/server.properties n started root/LinServ/serverstart-console.

I fallowed this guide
http://lineagecode.freeforums.org/l1-server-guide-t5.html

PC has been an old tower [XP] n a dual core 17" laptop [Vista]
Mac using bootcamp [XP] is th best out of them 3.06 imac 512mb graphics 1.5TB HD

All of these are clean Windows installs so i never enabled map cache settings
but don't really know what it is, googled it n didn't see much relivant :P

Thanx everyone. Would I have better luck setting this up on Mac/Linux?

You have to load all the update sql files in order after the l1jdbm6 file

K treid to execute SQL in Navicat on all the other updates in for the folder
along w/ ljdb_m6.sql and same error

Do i need to do entire archive as well or is that in m6?

My problem still here I did m6 n updates 50-56 with same error. I exported them
to a new database in Navicat call l1jdb in the same connection as
"info_schema/mysql/perform_schema/test". should i have executed them into mysql
database?

not to be rude, but this discussion would be much better suited to our
discussion group. Clearly this isn't a bug but a user setup issue lol
(again, no offense)

main codepage)

This way whatever is figured out can be archived for future people who may
have the same trouble (plus, its not a bug lol)

Ok!

Here's my progress, since i posted the issue #140:

- i svned the new source at revision 475, deleted all other revisions
i had in my computer, deleted the old database and started from
scratch.

- started a new database in mysql, with same name, updated all from
source, including the updates and the pending 056 update.

- opened eclipse and opened a new project from existing ant build file
from source rev. 475.

- compiled the .jar file from the new source.

- got the new .jar file to the server folder to wich i copied all th
svn source code

-changed server.properties file to include password for my database.

- hit serverstar-console batch file.

and "voilá": server up and running with no errors what so ever.
finished in the "Waiting for connections!" line

So far so good...

-Fired up the lindc_epu connector to my localhost (127.0.0.1) and got
to the login page.

(here is where is messes up again...)

inserted login name on the required field;
inserted password in required field;
hitted loggin button;
- and FREEZE...(what the hell!?!?!?!)

switched windows to see server console and this is what i got :

Accepted connection from IP: /127.0.0.1
17/Jun/2011 14:58:45 l1j.server.server.ClientThread run
INFO: (127.0.0.1) Login detected
Current memory: 160MB
Starting client thread...

and nothing else....

any ideas?

Seeing as how this is not a bug, but a user configuration problem, I am closing
this issue.

Please resume discussions in the google discussion group.
