Hello @AmyTrumpower,
I am not familiar with the Proportional Odds Assumption, but when I reviewed the literature on it, it does appear to be the same concept.
The Parallel Lines Assumption is covered at the end of Lab 05 Tutorial: https://watts-college.github.io/cpp-528-fall-2021/labs/lab-05-tutorial.html#:~:text=Difference-in-Difference%20Model%3A
Specifically, you want to focus on whether your treat:post variable shows additional growth beyond the post variable after you log your variables. This will indicate whether there was actually growth or if the treated and non-treated tracts experienced growth at the same rate.
@castower Hi Courtney (or anyone else that can help) š
Is the Parallel Lines Assumption the same as The Proportional Odds assumption?
Iām trying to answer the question in the lab and doing some research they seem to be used interchangeably but my interpretation may be wrong.
