2 years ago The Wrangling folder is an intermediary folder to:
- hold the justifications and thought processes behind how you categorized data (in the README.md file);
- (optionally) hold files that were in a state of transition before you chose the final files, datasets, etc. for your project; and
- (optionally) hold modeling files that worked but were not used because another model was selected for the final project instead
The optional files may be helpful to your team during the course in case you need to refer to them for analysis but not necessary for the final project. You don't need files outside the README.md file in the Wrangling folder.
The README.md file is important since every folder's README.md file should document what the folder is about and key steps that were taken in your team's decision-making process. _Note, README.md files count as 10% of the project's grade and fall under Documentation._
The Wrangling folder's README.md file could, for example, discuss the purpose of data wrangling using notes from the Data Wrangling section on this page.
Hello, What files are expected to be in the wrangling folder? So far, we have none and I see in the project rubric, it just shows a README.
