Does thermometer require pairing with phone first? #1

This is really a question about the Thermometer. I'm curious if you must first pair it with your phone/computer before being allowed to read the characteristic value?

Excellent question! Possibly. Since I only have one thermometer that was already paired with my phone, I can’t say for sure.
