Dear authors,

First, I would like to express my appreciation for your great work on the ORAL-3D: Reconstructing the 3D Bone Structure of Oral Cavity from 2D Panoramic X-ray paper and for making the code publicly available.

I am currently working on a research project that involves predicting the width and height of implant roots from CBCT DICOM files, and your methodology for generating paired images, especially the CBCT panorama extraction described in Section 3.3 of your paper, would be highly beneficial for my work. While I see that much of the code has been made available, I noticed that the preprocessing script for generating the paired images (CBCT to panoramic extraction) has not been included.

Could you kindly share the script or provide guidance on how to reproduce this step, especially the curved plane projection method you used for panoramic X-ray generation? I would greatly appreciate your assistance, and I would be more than happy to acknowledge your work properly in my research.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response!

Best regards,

Hi

Could you give me some introduction about yourself?

of course,

I’m Abdelrahman, an R&D Engineer specializing in computer vision and also a Teaching Assistant for Machine Learning at Alexandria University. I’m currently working on a research project that involves using deep learning for dental implant planning given patient's CBCT DICOM files.
