"Couldn't update repository submodules:" error in xcode #132

When installing Diagnostics with SPM, I get the following error in xcode: Couldn't update repository submodules:(see image below for full details)

I installed it through the "add package" option in the file menu. This does not prevent running the app in any way, or goes away when doing a build clean.

Is there a way to get rid/fix this error?
