A little thing that I suggest is to show the "Action_Bar_Cancelled" only if the new selected item isn't a weapon
Because for example if I equip a new weapon that has the name showed in action bars is bad that I have to change again slot to see the weapon name because there is the message of "Action_Bar_Cancelled", else, if I am taking in hand a normal item is good to see the "Action_Bar_Cancelled" message
So I think that it will be better if you execute the function that show Action_Bar_Cancelled before the function that shows the name of a weapon in action bars
It is only my point of view but I thinks it's more useful in combacts because someone (like me) creates weapon with some items type and without resource pack and in any case there is the ammo count in action bars
