Is there a reason we're doing this instead of PRs on the md, like for other subgroups? Makes it unnecessarily difficult to find the agendas of upcoming meetings.
Yes, it's because in the GC subgroup nobody else ever suggested an agenda item after we switched from this scheme to using PRs on the meetings repo. Using issues seems to make it easier for folks to contribute and discuss agenda items.
Well, discoverability is at least as important. I naturally look at the meetings repo to find out what is up next and whether I should attend. Having to search through the issues lists of possibly multiple repos to figure out which meetings are even happening, let alone what their agenda is, is painful and resulted in multiple missed meetings on my end.
(And FWIW, I don't see any comments with agenda suggestions on any of the issues yet either.)
We can have it both ways if you prefer: https://github.com/WebAssembly/meetings/pull/1490
Let's discuss #44 at the meeting.
Notes PR is here: https://github.com/WebAssembly/meetings/pull/1499
The next meeting of the threads subgroup will be on March 5, 2024 at 9am PST / 6pm CET. Please fill out this form to receive the calendar invite containing the Zoom link if you have not already done so.
