The other option might be a VPN.
Main things are that there needs to be a fqdn & TLS (SSL) cert chain.
User may already have environment (IE: domain name, lamp?)
Or perhaps there's one set up for the user via a script.
Maybe look at some sort of alternative to DNS? ATM; someone has to rent a domain name ($Per Year) then have some sort of hosting platform to get a fixed IP (+$10AUD PCM); which then needs to run something on it, to provide a secure routing method.
So, ~$130+ in taxes as a requirement to address the digital slavery issues.
Whereas; the protocols exist, perhaps run something over the top; like, https://github.com/amark/gun
To support an alternative DNS capability.?
Then, how could both be supported.
Some people might want the premium version; yet others, may be disaffected if these problems aren't resolved, to ensure affordability. Idk.
Needs to be a package that can be installed on a basic domain hosting service, that is in-turn integrated into the beaker browser (solid/NSS) server configuration (inc. install process, which will require the domain set up first & ability to provide SSL certificates to the browser / NSS instance).
Approach is to find existing opensource packages.
