New documentation branch, rebased with latest master changes.

All guides have been updated. Ready for review.

Outstanding issues:

a few TODOs still in the Sys Admin guide, to validate a section or statement is still correct/valid.
the system architecture graphic in the Developer's guide needs updating to reflect Spring Boot
