There really ought to be something done for the default option here for previous plugin usage, in case of re-activation or upgrade once this is out even.

I ran into this since I installed the .org version, then updated to latest master. I couldn't figure out where the error was coming from, until I looked at the labels in the settings. Since this was a bug out there in the wild, could be the case for others and we should save users that trouble, especially if they see an update for the plugin and they decide to reactivate.
