The Identity statement is very confusing

I made some points about IPAddresses and Domain names along with articulating more specifically better descriptions of identifiers that people use and ask why we don't describe them in the paper (if I should put all that commentary "in this box" - sorry I'm doing my best to learn this tool and the culture/ norms of use.
