Use of the term Validation is meaningless

Commented about the Identity management world's process and steps around verification, proofing and enrollment in systems. Along with proposing a way to more accurately describe the process I think you are trying to describe.

I'm not sure if the word is validation or verification — I don't know if there is any consensus among the various identity communities on the difference. I don't mind if we become firm in at least our own minds for only this community that there is difference.
