You could checkout https://www.w3.org/TR/did-spec-registries/#credentialregistry and https://id.eecc.de/01/04012345999990/10/20210401-A/21/XYZ-1234 as an example implementation. I suppose that we are heading the same direction with our topic :) Very keen to meet and exchange ideas.

@F-Node-Karlsruhe I like your approach. However it is not focused on the decentralized aspect where everyone is able to publish a product did and administrate the VC resolvers. Your example is using GS1 codes that is similar to the described did:web problem (scales good, but has a single point of failure).

It will be an interesting week for us :)
