Clarifies the Terminology section (removes undefined references to "SSI model")
Other minor edits per @selfissued's request.

@selfissued Copy that. I'm going to merge this PR, and I've sent a request to @shannona to kindly update the final laid-out version (since I was having technical issues). We'll be in a published state shortly.
