I'm afraid that the ONVIF add-on is currently lacking a module owner, but I am using the ONVIF adapter and can try to help.
As a first step, are you able to find any error messages in the system logs after you try to add the camera? Settings -> Developer -> View Internal Logs
Also if the camera isn't appearing any more I think with the ONVIF adapter you can manually add it in the Add-ons settings if you know the ONVIF endpoint and credentials.
When I run the initial scan the camera appears in the onvif configuration. I then go ahead and add in the credentials (username and password) and click apply. However when I re-run the scan the camera is not found. Any help would be appreciated.
The camera in question is a Tapo C200 which is Onvif S profile compliant
