My old saved template does not work. #42

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to open the file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to see my text and pictures go back to the way they were. Instead I get 
a blank template.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest version on Ubuntu 11.04.

Please provide any additional information below.
Should I go back to an old version?

From what version are you trying to load...  There was a major modification 
around 0.55 where I needed to redo the studio file

I'm using 0.57 Beta 2. Although I've been using the studio file since 0.56

0.56 studio files should be compatible...  Could you send me your studio file 
so I can have a look?

Sure. I don't know if I mentioned this but everytime I save a file, it doesn't 
open it back up. Should I reinstall Ubuntu? I've reinstalled the program many 
times.

What do you mean by it does not load it back up?  you mean that when you 
restart webcamstudio.  That's the desired behavior.

To load a studio on start up: webcamstudio live.studio

It doesn't open the saved file at all is what I meant.

You found a bug!  the irc source is causing the issue since  the password get's 
encrypted, there is an invalid char related to the xml format.

It's fixed now in the source code so that issue won't happen again.

To be able to get your studio to load again, remove the "password" in the file. 
 I've fixed your studio in the attachment, but you'll have to enter your 
password again.  And re-save your studio.
