What topics have been empirical studied in OSS related research?
What OSS projects have been empirically studied?
What research methods and data collection methods have been used in OSS related research?

Topics are:

Communities of OSH
Development and Maintenance of OSH
Adoption (maybe differentiated by Science vs Civil Society vs Industry?) of OSH
Charateristics of OSH ("These studies study aspects of OSS as a whole, and typically have large samples of hundreds or thousands of projects. These studies analyse aspects such as growth, evolution, innovation and quality of OSS"

Platforms vs Applications (moving from adruino & raspberry pi to microcontrollers)
We could create something similar to the table below (from doi:10.1017/dsj.2021.30 ) Where we compare a set of OSS studies, metrics, etc to OSH
