Project Economic Model #5

Economic modelling is quantatative tool to aid in making decisions product development decisions.

I have a spreadsheet created by the author of the blog series above. What I would like to do as a first step is convert the spreadsheet model into an open-source desktop application.

The technology stack I am leaning towards is Kotlin/JavaFX because it looks viable and is a stack that I am interested in learning (I have no Java or Kotlin experience).

My goal is to use this open-source project to discover a user base and mine those user experiences to determine the viability and feature set for a future SAAS application.

@mbrooks This is an open source project, but a side goal is to test the market for a potential SAAS offering that would provide much more functionality.
