I put cards onto this, but if these shells are stacked on top of each other, you can "cutout" the leaf shape by painting in 0% opacity and then paint some veins in. If you've never used opacity in Substance, you have to change the shader to something like alpha blended in the texture options menu, and add an opacity channel. then you just turn that on in your brush and set it to 0%.
