Leverage better HTML5/CSS3 and less hacky Single Page App functionality. Better templating and JS functionality segregation.

This has been preliminarily done in the v0.5-rewrite branch, using bootstrap/require.js/jquery/page.js. Things look better and work better but could still be significantly improved. Closing this issue, will open specific ones as they come up.
