Wired Ethernet connection #1

It would be great to have tasmota'ed gadgets with RJ45-Ethernet-plugs.

Inherited from https://github.com/arendst/Sonoff-Tasmota/issues/4936

Wireless is not always the best Solution for sensor and switch deployment. There may be gadgets around with Ethernet and similiar features, but different GUI and protocols. It would be nice to have a uniform user / admin solution, no matter whether the gadget at hand is connect by air or by wire. Swicthing a gadget's mode of connectivity should not require reconfiguration on the server side. This would be fine, if we had Tasmota on the wire.

@wolfgangr has your project faild now? I have been reading through your posts and have not found a continuation of your idea. I was intrested as probly many others. Since some of my WEMOS sitting at 20% Wifi and have issues with the connection. So i would have to extend my Wifi for 2 Wemos? :-(

@wolfgangr Another interested user nagging here :-) Did you get the chance to somehow make wired ethernet work with tasmota/wespota, e.g. on a Wemos D1 mini? I'd prefer to refrain from installing an access point in the cellar just so the smartmeter reader has enough signal, while there's an RJ45 jack right next to it...
