So I hope to figure it out myself, but if someone out there with really good knowledge of how the patterns work I would like some help.
x3g is the binary format used for older 3d printers things like the makerbot replicator 1, 2, and 2X and others and there isn't really a way to read it.
I did find a thing called a grammer file for it in a google group which seems to be the same thing as a pattern for a program called Synalyze It! which is only available on mac and I'm hoping to use this grammar file to create a .hexpat file for the x3g files If anyone out there wants to help that would be great. I plan to start looking at tutorials and reading documentation on how the hexpat file works and will probably have to read how the .grammar file works as well.
